From One Young Vision to a Growing Youth-Led Legacy

Memorable Moments began with a powerful idea and a young vision.

At just 11 years old, Maceo L. Rivers imagined a business that would honor people, moments, and achievements in ways that truly mattered. What started as a youth-led engraving venture quickly became something special. Maceo won national bids with USA Track & Field to engrave medals—two years in a row—ensuring that local athletes who could not attend national competitions still had the opportunity to see their names, events, dates, and achievements permanently recognized. Every engraved medal told a story. Every piece affirmed belonging.

Then the world shifted.

Like many small businesses, Memorable Moments was deeply impacted by COVID-19, forcing operations to pause and plans to recalibrate. What followed was not an ending—but a reimagining.

A Purposeful Pivot, A Broader Vision

In 2025, Memorable Moments relaunched with clarity, intention, and expanded purpose. Today, we are more than an engraving company—we are a youth-led creative manufacturing and workforce development business, rooted in equity, entrepreneurship, and skill-building.

Memorable Moments now:

• Produces custom engraved and manufactured products including plaques, awards, coasters, keychains, puzzles, signage, and branded goods

• Is a proud ASI (Advertising Specialty Institute) member, allowing us to co-sell promotional products alongside our in-house manufactured items to schools, universities, nonprofits, and businesses

• Operates with a youth workforce development model, growing from educating our own children into creating pathways for underrepresented youth to gain hands-on skills in design, technology, production, and entrepreneurship

Leadership has also evolved. As Maceo transitions into young adulthood, Marcus Rivers, now 9 years old, has stepped into the role of Youth Operator, learning the business from the ground up—production, quality control, and customer experience—continuing the family legacy of building with purpose.

Materials, equipment maintenance, and upfront production costs for larger or repeat orders require investment before revenue is fully realized—but every order directly fuels skill-building, mentorship, and meaningful work for young people.
